Another soccer saturday, here we go:
Chelsea -1.5 (3 units)
Chelsea is rolling right now, and I expect it to continue tomorrow. After losing the Carling Cup to Tottenham, and slim chances of capturing the EPL title, I'm sure Avram Grant will put some importance in winning the FA Cup. Chelsea are in great form, losing only 1 time in 19 games in all competitions (which was the CC final in extra time) and they have won 14 of those games SU. They also boast the best road record in the EPL with a 9-2-3 record. Barnsley have done a great job getting this far, including beating Liverpool in Anfield, but I think Chelsea will be too much to handle. Taking Chelsea and laying 1.5 here.
Manchester United -1.5 (3 units)
Again going with the team that has brought me the most bacon this season. Man United have been terrific in the FA cup competition this year, easily dusting off their opponents, including Arsenal in the last round to the tune of 4-0. As a whole, Manchester United are unbeaten in their last 5 games, including 4 wins and a draw, scoring 14 goals in that period. C. Ronaldo will most likely start, and he has simply been a goal scoring machine, with 30 goals to his credit so far. Last time these two met at Old Trafford this year ended up being a 2-0 victory for Man United, but it was a game that could of easily been won by a larger margin. I'm rolling with Man United again, and hope it's by a 2 goal margin as was the last time.
Blackburn -0.5, -1 (3 units)
This is a fade of Fulham here. Fullham are absolutely dreadful on the road. They have not won a road game in 30 games. The last time Fulham beat Blackburn in their own building was way back in 2005, and ever since then they have notched only 2 road victories. Blackburn has the chance to get closer to Everton for the 5th (and UEFA cup) spot who are 5 points ahead. I'll take the home team that should be motivated to win in this spot.
Chelsea -1.5 (3 units)
